How I Work

Life often has its ups and downs, and it can be tough to talk to the people we have around us due to a variety of reasons. If you are seeking support through life’s challenges, wanting to explore certain experiences or issues, or you are hoping to build a more compassionate relationship with yourself and others around you, then I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore anything freely.

I offer a free 20 minute consultation call. This will give us the opportunity to talk through what you want to achieve with therapy, my way of working and whether that would be best suited with what you want to achieve.

My Qualifications

I am a BACP registered individual membership with a MA in Clinical Counselling. Throughout my training I spent time working at an organisation that specifically helped support people with a range of emotional and mental health issues after they experienced sexual assault. My time spent working in that organisation has created an interest in trauma work. I currently work in a secondary school as a school counsellor.

To maintain my ability to best support my clients, I keep up with CPD and readings on relevant topics. This is also to help sustain my interest in learning and improving self.

In general, I found it really helpful and positive to discuss things with Lisa, that I haven't opened up about before. I think this means she was able to create an environment that I felt safe to talk in even when there were some very difficult and uncomfortable discussions.
